Gap Fellows Extracurricular Activities

Gap Fellows are encouraged to make use of all school facilities in their free time and to participate in or initiate any sports, art, or technology, drama activities or music events.

In fact, part of the job description is to share your skills and passions with younger students as well as to pursue them on your own.

You may use your interest in the theater to direct a house play, build scenery for a school production or play in the orchestra. Maybe you can teach guitar or chaperone a dance or help an international student with English.

Almost certainly you'll be asked to help coach a sport or to teach sports skills to younger students. And just by indulging in a passion for sculpting or sailing or speaking Spanish you'll encourage younger students who may have been afraid to try.
